We get a lot of submissions at Cuttin’ It Fine Headquarters, but very few turn our heads as much as this one. Azido 88 is a respected producer and has made some serious waves in the Lo-Fi scene. He’s teamed up with Cadillacque on this release (who was new to us) but definitely an MC we’ll be watching closely in the future.

We are proud to present: Azido 88 & Cadillacque - Heavy Hitters

The original: Cue boom bap drums, heavy bass, melodic strings and horns. Pretty much everything that gets us excited here at Cuttin’ It Fine. Cadillacque does the beat justice with clever wordplay and a hard-bodied delivery, making this track one to stand the test of time.

X-Ray Ted: Teds version won’t disappoint if you’ve followed his work over the last few years. He adds some dancefloor magic and sprinkles a dash of disco over the stems. He’s taking this one up a notch for getting crowds moving and keeping DJ crates firmly in is sight.

Roast Beatz: Roasts been pretty active on releases lately and his remix is reminiscent of a lot of bass heavy 808 tracks he’s been putting out. He’s chopped up the samples giving it a new feel, added rolling hi hats while totally re-working the hook with his signature cuts. This one needs to be played on a large system for full effect!

DZRT FRST: A totally new sound for Cuttin’ It Fine but one which features in a lot of our streams. DZRT FRST has turned the original into a dirty house stomper, giving it a completely new feel to the original. He hasn’t held any punches and this track will be the perfect accompaniment for DJ’s who have a packed dance floor.
